Lessons
We are able to give lessons for all types of riders, from the nervous beginner to the
experienced rider who wants to brush up their riding skills. We are happy to take all ages
(although we have a minimum age of 4 years old). There are always many watchful eyes to
ensure that the children are well looked after.
We have group lessons and private one-to-one lessons. The group lessons are usually an
hour and the private either half an hour or an hour. All activities can be taught from
dressage, show jumping and event riding — the latter dependent on the weather!
All the group lessons are on Saturday and Sunday and are mostly for the children,
although some novice adults can even join the children's rides. These rides are
mainly on the farm or the immediate vicinity, however for the more experienced adult
riders, we go further afield on Sunday mornings after the children's group lessons.
All rides have the opportunity for cantering and some jumping depending on your skills.
If you want to arrange a lesson for you or your child please see our contact details.
Request to Parents/Guardians
While our instructors appreciate involvement of parents and
guardians, they would respectfully request that this should not happen from the sides
during lessons as it distracts the riders.
Hacking
If you do not want to have a formal lesson then just book a hack in the beautiful
countryside that surrounds us here. There are plenty of safe rides with the minimal amount
of road work for you to enjoy. We are fortunate to have adjacent land-owners who are all
kind enough to allow us access through their land to reach the bridle paths and other
rides.
